Hi guys! We are Josu and Oihane and we have been in Holland between the 16 and 22 of March. We have had a very good time, we have enjoyed a lot, and we're not going to forget never this experience.
While our stay in Cuijk we have done a lot of things and we are going to talk about it now day by day.
Apart from us, there were 4 more countries doing the exchange with other dutch students (Torino, Tartu, Preili, Chartres)


·SATURDAY
We woke up at 3 o'clock am to take the bus in Azbe to go to the airport of Loiu. When we arrived, we check in the bags and after we took the plain at 6.50 to Brussels.

At 9 o'clock in the morning we arrived to the airport of Brussels and we went to take our bags. After we took a bus to go to Cuijk.
After a two hours journey we arrived to Merlet College, the school of Cuijk, there were all the exchange students and their families waiting to us.

Afterwards, we went each other to our house and we had lunch. Later we went to sleep a bit because we were very tired because of the trip.
At 6 o'clock we had dinner and after we had a shower, we got ready and Josu went to a house of a friend of his exchange and Oihane went to Noesjka's house.
We took a bus to go to the discotheque TimeOut at 10 o'clock near the school. We had a very good time and we enjoyed a lot.

·SUNDAY
On Sunday we celebrated "Family day" and each student did something different with his or her family or with his or her friends.
Oihane in the morning stayed at home, and after lunch she went with Haizea, Vicky, Alba and Mirthe to the Wellnessboot. It is a nacked sauna. We stayed there the whole afternoon we had dinner there, and after we went to Taurus, the bar where we went every night.

Josu first went to the kart with his family and in the afternoon he went bowling. He also went to Taurus at night.

·MONDAY
On Monday we met everyone in the school at 8.30. Lots of people went by bike, because it's very tipical from there.

Basque students went to a room where we talked about the weekend and the plan for that day. Later, we went to the "sitting room" and we met there with our exchange students and the rest of the students.
First we ate a tipical cookie of Holland with chocolate.

After the director of the school wolcomed us. When the director finished speaking the mayor of Cuijk speaked too, and when he finished, some students of the school acted. Then, we went outside and we took a balloon and we tied to the balloon a wish, and we pull the balloon to the sky everybody together, and we each country put their flag.

Later, we went to the gym of the school and we divided in different groups and we played in different games and sports. We spend all the morning there.

We had a break to eat and to relax because after we had to play again in the afternoon. At 3.30 each other went to his/her home.

After a girl danced to us.

At night we celebrated the cultural festifal, it is a festival where each contry prepares something to do to all the exchange students. We did in a theatre. The people who had to dance, we had to go before than the others to prepare everything.
The Basque people danced "Banakua" and "Fandango eta Arin-arin".

After the cultural festival we went to Taurus.

·TUESDAY
On Tuesday we met at 8.30 in the classroom and we had an hour to prepare the workshops for wednesday. When we finished, at 9.30 we took the bus to Arnhem, and we went to see the Burgers' zoo. We spent the whole day there and we returned to Cuijk at 5 o'clock.

When we arrived to Cuijk we went home and Oihane went to a pizzeria to have dinner with Alba, Mirthe, Haizea, Vicky, Irene Femke, Ainhoa, Rosalie, Amaia, Daan and Willeken.
When we finished having dinner we went to the house of Oihane's exchange, because she has  a bar and we stayed a bit there and later we went to Taurus.

Josu had dinner at home and then he went to Taurus.

·WEDNESDAY

We met at school earlier than every day, at 8. We went to Amsterdam and we stayed all the day there.
We arrived at 10.30 and we divided in two groups, the first group first went to the Scheepvaart museum and the other group went to the canals, and after we finished the group who went to the museum when to the canals and the group who went to the canals, they went to the museum.

Afterwards we had free time from 2.30 to 20.30 and we went to visit Amsterdam and to buy some souvenirs for the family.
We had to go to Damrak at 8.30 to take the bus to return to Cuijk, bus some students lost but finally a teacher found them, and after we came back to Cuijk.

·THURSDAY
We met at school at 8.30 and we had nearly an hour to prepare all what we needed for the workshops. At 9.20 some students came to class where we where and we explaned to them dance Txulalai. When we finished we went outside and we played with them the game Lokotxak. We had to do two times the workshops because we explaned to two different groups.

When we finished with the workshops, we took a boat to Grave. When we arrived in Grave it was 1 o'clock so we had lunch in a bar. We stayed there an hour and after we took the boat again to go to Nijmegan. We stayed in boat at all 5 hours but we had a good time.

In Nijmegan we went to a pizzeria and we had dinner all together. When we finished having dinner, we had free time and at 9 o'clock we took the bus to return to Cuijk.

When we arrived we went to Taurus and we stayed there until they closed, after some of us went to Amaia's exchange house and we stayed there until 6 o'clock.

·FRIDAY
We met at 6.30 in the school to say good bye to everybody and we took the bus from Cuijk to Brussels. We check in the bags and we took the plain at 11.15 and we arrived to Loiu at 13.10. In Loiu there was a bus waiting to us to return to Aretxabaleta.
